Mary Elizabeth Brown, age 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2012, in Valley Healthfulness Services, Inc.

She was born on December 7, 1924, in Albany, daughter of the overdue Bessie Victoria Watson. On March 16, 1956, she was united in wedlock with Frederick A. Brown in Herkimer. They shared a loving and devoted coalition of nearly fifty years until his passing on February 9, 2006. She and her economize on lived in Little Falls since 1979 coming from Herkimer.

For seventeen years, Mrs. Brown was employed by the Duofold Assembly in Mohawk. She retired in 1974.

She was of the Catholic faith. In her leisure time, she enjoyed knitting and doing puzzles. To those who knew Mary, they will never draw a blank a soft spoken, caring, and extremely kind woman with an unforgettable grin. She will be greatly missed by the many special friends and cousin, Rose, that she leaves behind.

Work hours for Mrs. Brown will be on Monday (today) from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. in Fenner Cremation Home, Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer, with a funeral worship army to follow at 3:00 p.m. The Reverend Mark Cunningham, pastor of Saint Francis deSales Church, Herkimer, will chair. Interment will take place later this spring in Oak Hill Cemetery.
