As guest editor for Metro, he said: "The affair at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine spokesman."
But he now insists that his comments were taken "out of context," and that he is indeed a huge fan of the ‘Someone Like You' singer.
He told the newspaper Wednesday: "I'd like to say to Adele that I am your biggest darling. Sometimes when you take a sentence out of the article it changes the meaning of the thought.
